GAME FORMAT
- All games will be 3-15 minute running periods.
- 2 minute warm up starts immediately after zamboni doors are closed.
- No timeouts allowed in regular season. 1 timeout per game in playoffs.
- Last 2 minutes of game will be stop time if score is within 2 goals.
- You must have 5 rostered players and a goalie to start game. You may borrow a goalie but NO SKATERS CAN BE BORROWED. If a team doesn’t have enough players to start game they will be given until 5 minutes past the end of warmup to field the 5 players. You may end a game with less than 5 skaters (due to an injury or ejection) but you may never go below 3 skaters on the ice. The result of not enough players is a forfeit.
- No goalie, no game !! A goalie is a goalkeeper in goalkeeper’s equipment. A 6th skater is not a goalkeeper.

3 penalties in one game and you are disqualified for the rest of that game (first offense). Any subsequent offense of 3 penalties in a single game will result in a 1 game suspension.

Fighting: 1st offense: 1 game.
2nd offense (same season)–3 games.
3rd offense (same season)– out for the rest of the year. -
Monarchs Hockey reserves the right to institute supplementary discipline in any way that seems fit. There will a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for any behavior which is detrimental to any other players, fans or officials (on ice or off). This is an adult league and adult behavior is expected. Safety is always our first concern.
